184. FEELINGS by Bloods

This 2018 record by unfortunately named Australian pop punk band Bloods (I couldn't find out how/why they ended up with this name) is about 30 minutes of pop punk (and/or self-described riot grrrl) heaven. They have a new album coming out in September of 2022 so now's as good a time as any to check out their most current release.

For the most part, this is upbeat, feel good music for head nodding or raving. I read one comment that their sound is reminiscent of The Go-Go's and I don't disagree. The big hit is 'Feelings' so I would start off with that. Then consider alternating with a slower track like 'Broken Heart.' Pick things up again with album opener 'Bring My Walls Down' and finally turn things down a notch again with 'Slow Break' which has some really nice guitar work in the tail end of the song.
