12. ELVIS’ GOLDEN RECORDS, VOL. 3 by Elvis Presley
Granted this is not a regular studio album, I still think it's worth discovering (or rediscovering) this compilation. Elvis compilations are a dime a dozen these days, but this series (which eventually encompassed 5 volumes) was the first. Growing up, I remember either having or being exposed to volumes 1 through 3. While all three of those records have the hits we all know and love, volume 3 is the one that either stuck out to me or stuck with me. Tracks 8, 9 and 10 epitomize what Elvis means to me, especially 'Little Sister' - I mean that riff could be from 2020 as much as it could be (and was) from 1961.
